Cowork Backup

Cowork Backup is a cross-platform plugin for Cowork that automates session backup and restore. It detects your OS, installs backup scripts and a scheduler automatically, and supports one-command interactive restore for recovering previous Cowork sessions.

Works on macOS, Linux, and Windows with zero manual configuration.

• Automatic Backups — scheduled backups of your Cowork session data, configured on install
• Interactive Restore — one-command restore with a picker to choose which session to recover
• Cross-Platform — auto-detects macOS, Linux, and Windows and uses the appropriate scheduling mechanism (launchd, cron, Task Scheduler)

Install from the Patchoutech marketplace:

1. Add the marketplace source: /plugin marketplace add hopchouinard/patchoutech-plugins
2. Install the plugin: /plugin install cowork-backup@patchoutech-plugins
3. Restart Cowork

Backups start automatically after installation. To restore a session, run the restore command and select from the available backups.
